Elsa Marie Ahmed
French Tutor
I am a graduate from the EA program at Mohawk College, I have taken courses at McMaster in the French department, and spent most of my summers with my family in France (please see resume).
I have volunteered in various schools in Hamilton throughout many years from primary (elementary level) to high school levels, working with students in French Immersion, and with students with special needs. I am urrently contributing to a French Conversation circle with adults one day a week at the Westdale Library through the Centre Francais d’Hamilton.
I have a solid experience in tutoring students from the primary to the high school levels.

Mission
My Mission
Using an interactive approach, I want to help students complete their home work timely and successfully and equip them with the understanding of the French language and its use.
Interacting with students in French on topics relevant to them, I want to help them acquire a comfortable command of French in what they wish to do (everyday situations, travels, professional language, etc).
Vission
My Vision
My long term goal is to help students strengthen their linguistic skills in French and reach their linguistic potential by becoming bilingual. I will also enjoy broadening together our cultural knowledge of the Francophone world and of the world in general in their rich diversity.
